Around the yard

Hi there! I have been ultra distracted lately by having a yard. Take a girl who dabbled in gardening on her patio, stick her in a home with a 1.25 acre yard and well…. You’ll basically never get her inside! Here are a few pics I’ve been snapping lately of our yard! Enjoy 😊

This little spot is my oasis! All of my plants are doing so so well here! They made the move from my patio to this spot and are happier than ever before.

Fruit trees and buds! Including oranges lemons and avacados, this weekend we also planted some limes and a guava tree!

I am working on planting the most colorful bougainvillea hedge you’ve ever seen! We bought a bunch of baby bougs and I’ve been planting them along our front fence. I can’t wait to see them grow taller and taller! They have already grown quite a bit from when I put them in. I could spend every single day outside. It is so peaceful and I love watching the birds and seeing new blooms… This is our own version of paradise and we couldn’t be happier!

XOXO,
Brittany

PS I almost forgot to introduce you to this kitty! Her name is Heiny (pronounced like “high knee” short for Heinrich; Ben named her a looong time ago when he thought she was a boy) we always had her following us around the office and we have been feeding her and taking care of her there for a couple of years. One day Ben decided to bring her home with him! At first she was really scared and hid in the garage. Then Ben put a kitty door in and now she goes in and out freely and follows us around the yard. She loves rolling around in the grass and having such a big property to roam. So get used to her face! You’ll be seeing lots of her 😊

Ok bye now!
