Bathroom #1 Reno aka the spa inspired bathroom

This room has been finished for quite some time but I just haven’t gotten around to posting it! This bathroom is one of 3 guest baths and it’s the only one we have completely remodeled so far. Ben and I made a deal that we will each get one bathroom that we can decorate however we want without input from the other person, this bathroom is the one I chose. He will be doing the “cabana bath” that is accessed near the living room and also outside from the pool area. Below you will see some before pics, followed by some progress pics and then the final results. Before we get to the final pics, I will say that I feel like I need some pops of color and I’m not sure if I want to keep the art work that I have hanging, but it’s there for now. Eventually when we get past all of the renovations and move more into the decorating phase, I’m sure I will switch things up a little. Well here we go! …..
This picture is from the MLS listing

And now the “afters”!!

(Aren’t those shower niches cool?!)

Can’t help but post a pic of Tubby in the tub ☺️

So what do you think? Any suggestions about what color I should use to accent with? Feel free to post any comments or questions in the comment section! Thanks for following us along on our renovation journey and super thanks for being so patient with me!

  1. Beautiful! Love that you wrote B “heart” B on the wall. πŸ™‚ I agree with some color pop but still love the way it turned out. That shade of green is perfection!

  2. Ooo this bathroom is right up my alley! Love the floor tiles. I vote coral color pops(like the same color scheme as your blog logo). Or maybe colbat blues if you want to keep the tones cool.

  3. Beautiful transformation and love your style! Where did you find the blue and turquoise octagon tiles?

  4. Where did you get the vanity base and top? I am doing a remodel soon and this bathroom is perfect! Also what is the name of the wall color?

    • Hi! The vanity base is from Greenfield cabinetry and the countertop is Caesarstone “pebble”. The wall color is a beer color from Home Depot but I can’t remember the name. I will try to find out and get back to you!

      • I absolutely love this. What is the color! I may have to steal your idea! My bathroom remodeling is on now

      • Love the cabinets. Do they ship them or sell them locally? I am in MA

      • The are nationwide. You would just go to their website and find a local dealer. If you show your local dealer a picture they should be able to get you a quote. Good luck!

  5. I’m with the others, when you find out what the wall color is please let us know! It is beautiful!

  6. Love it! I’m not sure how long ago this was done but can you tell me where you got the cabinet?? I’m looking for a small one with drawers. I love how you put the octagon tile on floor and in bath!

    • Thanks so much! The cabinet is from a company called Greenfield Cabinetry. If you go on their website you should be able to find a local dealer πŸ™‚

  7. I like it just as it is. Very soft, calm and spa like. I wouldn’t change a thing. Well done!

  8. Great job on your bathroom. I know you’ve had it complete now for a few years. I came across a picture on Pinterest. I’m just starting to look at bathroom renovation ideas and I’m starting to freak out a little.

  9. Hi Brittany, love this bathroom.. it’s so happy and loved. We’re redoing ours and I’m trying to figure out tp holder, knobs and if you’d happen to have sny extra baskets. Hubby wants baskets instead if shrlves. Can you help us or offer any other details. We’d appreciate it. Many thanks..
